Dancing skeletons started appearing on this band's album art in 1977, when they were seen lined up across the inside cover of the What A Long Strange Trip It's Been LP. With the Dancing Skellies design, these iconic characters are patterned across a blue ombré background behind the group's logo; skeletons tie into the band's name and much of the psychedelic messaging in their music.
